The Pall WS05 Series water sensor designed for Pall Industrial Hydraulics by IMS detects water in solution in lubricating oils, fuels, hydraulic and dielectric fluids.

Percentage saturation and temperature is measured by immersing a probe into the fluid stream, reservoir or fluid sample. After a short stabilisation period the Pall WS05 LCD displays the percentage water saturation level and temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

At 80% saturation a red warning light will illuminate to draw attention to the high water contamination level. If corrective action is taken and the water content is reduced to acceptable levels, the red warning light will be replaced by a green light to indicate normal, safe-operating conditions exist.

For inline or online readings a 0.375in BSPP fitting is supplied allowing for direct connection of the probe into the fluid line, positioned so that the sensor tip is fully immersed in the fluid stream and locked into position with a compression fitting. The Pall WS05 water sensor can monitor moisture content from either a single or multiple fixed locations. Up to 16 sensors can be connected to monitor critical points in the system and feed the data back to a display, PC or PLC.
